1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all yoga services provided by Melissa Mayr ("the Teacher") to clients ("the Client"). By booking or participating in any yoga classes, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2. Health and Safety

The Client acknowledges that yoga involves physical activity and that it is the Client’s responsibility to consult a healthcare professional before starting yoga classes to ensure they are physically able to participate. The Client agrees to take full responsibility for their participation in yoga sessions and understands that the Teacher is not liable for any injuries sustained during the sessions.

3. Agreement to Terms and Privacy Policy

By booking a class or purchasing any service, the Client automatically agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. 

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1. Private Classes:

  • All class package prices must be paid in full via PayPal, Revolut, Bizum, or IBAN before the start of any sessions.

  • Payments are non-refundable once the service has been delivered or if the Client has already received the service before the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.

  • All packages have a validity period, and classes must be scheduled within this time frame unless otherwise agreed between the Client and Teacher.

4.2. Group Classes:

  • To secure a spot and any applicable discount, full payment must be made in advance via PayPal, Revolut, Bizum, or IBAN.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancel at least 7 days before the class for a full refund (excluding taxes).

    • Cancel within 72 hours before the class for a 50% refund (excluding taxes).

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class.

  • For cash payments, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking, and this deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

4.3. No Refund Policy Upon Immediate Service Usage:

The Client agrees that they waive their right to a refund if the service (private session or group class) is taken within the 14-day statutory withdrawal period. This applies, for example, if a class is booked on May 3rd for May 6th, and the Client chooses to attend and receive the service.

5. Rescheduling and Attendance

In the event of illness or emergency, the Teacher will either reschedule the class or provide an alternative teacher if necessary.

  • For private classes only: Both the Teacher and Client commit to attending the booked sessions. If a class cannot be attended by the Client, it must be rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. In case of illness or emergency on either party’s side, the class can be rescheduled. If the Teacher is unable to attend, an alternative teacher will be provided or the class will be rescheduled.

  • For group classes: In case of emergency, the class can be rescheduled but no refunds will be issued. If the Teacher is ill, an alternative teacher will be provided, or the class will be rescheduled.

6. Packages and Validity

  • Private class packages (1x, 4x, or 8x sessions) are valid for the specified period (e.g., 2 months for the 8-class package, 4 weeks for the 4-class package). Sessions must be scheduled within the validity period, or they will be forfeited unless agreed otherwise.

  • If a class package includes a discount, this discount is only available if the full payment is made in advance.

7. Liability

The Teacher is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property during classes. The Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Teacher from any and all claims, liabilities, and damages arising from participation in the yoga sessions.

8. Cookies and Data Privacy

The website uses cookies to enhance user experience. By continuing to use the website, the Client agrees to the use of cookies. A detailed cookie policy and privacy policy are available.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising out of these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Spain.
